Internationally best-selling author and publishing executive Joseph Kanon will keynote our Annual Benefit with a talk about his most recent book — Leaving Berlin. His seven Cold War era thrillers include Los Alamos, which won an Edgar Allen Poe Award presented by the Mystery Writers of America for best first novel; and The Good German, which was made into a film starring George Clooney and Cate Blanchett.
Kanon’s talk at the Boca Grande Community Center Auditorium, will be followed by a special reception for all event sponsors at the home of Ann and Bob Fletcher. Registration and sponsorship information is available at the Foundation office or call (941) 964-0211.
