Island Booknotes has been produced annually since 2019 to catalog the foundation’s upcoming literary series programs and to showcase original writing by local authors. This includes short fiction, poetry, essays, and book reviews.
The digital versions of Island Booknotes are posted here, but if you would like a copy of this year’s magazine, published in November 2026, email us at info@JFLFBG.org, and we will be happy to mail you one. Copies are also available at the library, or downtown Boca Grande at The Gasparilla Inn, and at The Tide, Boca Grande’s bookstore.
